Saving Independent Music: (The Community GiveBack Project)
We are conducting an experiment to see how the involvement of the audience and the power of the Internet may or may not be successful while simultaneously trying to increase the exposure of independent music.
Are you tired of the same 5 or 6 songs being played on the radio? Are you tired of the consolidation of your favorite music artists and businesses, which results in their potential "vanishing" forever in a huge merger? Did it count..the last time you voted on something? Well, we want to see if "the little guy" can compete on the same level as the "major players".
We do NOT promise anything, including stock options, cash prizes, involvement in decisions or fabulous gifts of any kind, but if this project proves to be successful, we intend to surprise one audience member [who contributed no higher than $1 (one dollar, U.S. currency) in single/ separate mailings] after the end of each calendar quarter by "giving something back". The "give back" may include such examples as a music CD, movie tickets, opportunities to see plays/ theatre shows/ concerts, or maybe pay a bill/ expense for you. Being this all depends on the success of this project and the response of the contributions, we cannot promise anything other than as long as this project is supported by each audience member mailing of $1 (U.S. currency), we will try to keep independent music [in various genres] alive and strong by the artists, writers, and talent we select to work with on our record label [Enigmatism Recordings], our publishing division [S.N.I.P.E.R. Music Publishing], our production company [Sirge Sound Productions], and by NOT merging with "the big guys" for as long [at least] as the duration of this project. "Who Says A Dollar Doesn't Go A Long Way?!!" .
Because of the limitations in resources and finances of an independent company, we have to emphasize any potential "give back" to the community will be limited to the United States Of America. If this project is successful, maybe we can extend it [only then] outside of the U.S.A.; however, anyone may contribute to our efforts of this project.

Please NOTE: Include in your mailing: your complete name, address and contact information in the event [our project is successful and we select to "give back" to you], and you give us permission to also give you some sort of public "thanks" for your involvement in our project/ experiment (i.e. public "thanks" via our website, credit on liner notes of a CD, etc). Also know that we cannot "give back" to everyone who participates in this project, but understand we will be random should we select an individual(s) to "give back" to.
You may contribute as many times as you wish, but if we select an individual(s) to "give back" to, you may not be a recipient more than twice in any same year OR twice in two consecutive calendar quarters [to be fair to other contributors].
REASONS FOR THE PROJECT
Also, please do NOT contribute for any expectations of receiving anything; however, our "philosophy" for trying this experiment is simply stated as "take care of home and home will take care of you". In other words, how many artists or industry execs have "thanked you" for your support in helping them reach their goals, dreams and agenda by you simply being to them...a thoughtful and loyal consumer.
Another reason for trying this project out is that we come in contact with many great independent artists who may not get as much exposure as the major label artists. Therefore, we thought how can we possibly do what we love [music], bring in more resources, "give back" to the community, and possibly assist other independent artists and musicians [maybe via future invitations to perform on compilation releases on our label] gain some more exposure? So was born the idea of "Saving Independent Music: The Community GiveBack Project".
If this project does what we hope, you [the audience] will experience
the appreciation from us here. The more successful this project is,
the more we'll possibly be able to achieve, the more opportunities we'll
be able to extend, and the more we'll possibly be able to "give back"
to the community in various areas. Therefore, the question is: can a
dollar really make a difference? Well, you tell us....or better yet...show
us.
RECENT AND PAST CONTRIBUTIONS
We use a percentage of the money to "give back" to community
and music areas (ie. children in independent programs to learn music
& sports, indie artists w/ their exposure, community outreach programs,
etc.). We [as a collective company..meaning the various divisions] have
already in the recent past [as early as 2002 to the present] given
to fund raising events and charities such as AIDS Walk
and also for Breast Cancer Research..so it's all for
a common good.
EXCEPTIONS
An exception to the $1 (one dollar U.S. currency) maximum [per each single mailing] is if there are any prominent figures (i.e. celebrity, established media or business moguls, well established entrepreneurs, etc.) taking notice of our efforts and; therefore, would like to contribute more than the $1 maximum, you are welcome. Please also understand these "well-to-do" prominent figures may not be eligible for the "give back" for obvious reasons. Employees and staff are ineligible to be recipients as so are the relatives of said employees and staff [again for obvious reasons]. We'd also like to state that any amount or contribution is appreciated, in that it assists us in our efforts to continue what we all here love [music].

Native E-Music Awards: Sirge Is Selected To Be A Judge
Among the many projects, events and goals sometimes are "perks" or things which come along one's road to success which makes it feel pleased to be a part of a positive process in the music and entertainment industry.
Besides staying busy with his own company's projects such as working on a compilation to bring further exposure to certain independent artists [he's encountered] and his own solo effort on his own indie record label [Enigmatism Recordings], finding placement of songs and providing services for his publishing company's [The Original S.N.I.P.E.R. Music Publishing] catalogue in addition to outside clients, and just staying aware of causes worth while getting involved with...it's always a pleasure to stop and be a part of another entity's process.
Sirge has been selected to be a judge in the Native E-Music Awards. He feels it an honor to be a part of the music event in that it recognizes the contributions made by Native American and Aboriginal people. He is already a member of several industry organizations such as ASCAP, NARAS, and SoundExchange, and; therefore, looks forward to sharing more of his music knowlege and experience to this music awards event in addition to simply doing what music lovers do...enjoy and appreciate good music.

Clothing Line Store: Da'Beat Barn & Da"Beat Barn2 !!!
Yep, it had to happen sooner or later (!!!). We've begun the beginning stages of our own apparell. The name/ brand of the clothing line is not disclosed until a full complete line in the future is launched; however, everyone may currently show their support of the two online stores we have at the moment...Da'Beat Barn and Da'Beat Barn2.
While both online apparell stores have similar items and gear, the first may be somewhat pricey for some individuals. However, if you can shop the department stores, you can shop at ours (thanks, much appreciated for those who do).
Many of the ventures which generate revenue for our company are usually either re-invested back into the company or channeled to various areas in which to give back to causes. It can range in anything from just helping independent artists put out great music, creating employment opportunities for some, contributing efforts and money to non-profit causes, and other agendas which assists in philanthropic means. Therefore, you never know when supporting any of our causes..you indirectly help support another's cause.

Secret Shopper Job/ Gigs
We are in possession of a small list of companies which in turn for your work as a "consumer/ secret shopper", they will pay you. In some cases [depending upon the project] you are able to keep the merchandise you "shop" for. These projects can range from clothing stores, restaurants, banks, home improvement venues, etc. In general, the companies basically would give you an assignment to go in and pose as a consumer/ customer, write up your experience as the customer and submit your report to the company which gave you the assignment, and get paid for it.
To clear things up in the beginning, our fee is NOT for you to get a "shopper" gig, but rather is the fee to know the information you're getting is legit.You may decide afterwards whether you wish to do assignments they have. This means that a few of us here in our company has done "mystery shopping" for the companies on our list; therefore, we're providing YOU with name(s)/ info of companies which indeed already have assignments and DO pay you. This to some is crucial because we've already done the legwork and had the headaches of trying to learn which were real and which were not. We have a short list of several companies; therefore, you can decide if you wish to pay our retainer/ consultant fee for one or more.
