Here at The SIRGE CONGLOMERATE, we are constantly in the mix of things 2 track down up-n-coming talent. In addition, periodically we scope out and canvass various prospects 2 join in our work efforts. We do not make it a habit of accepting unsolicited demos, resumes or material of any nature; however, we occasionally will make exceptions depending upon what the individual(s) have to offer (talentwise/ businesswise).
From time to time, we will post issues we are regarding and are currently in search for. Therefore, we do encourage all 2 keep in constant touch with our website. Please note that; although, we are NOT able to reply to EVERY submission, we DO make every effort to review ALL who apply for the following positions.
CURRENTLY, WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- Female Hip-Hop Artist (Rapper)
Age 19 and up. She must exhibit a raw hip-hop versatile style while maintaining her strong femininity. She should be open 2 various ideas -n- input 2 further her career; however, will not have 2 compromise or sacrifice anything which proves damaging 2 her career, identity and reputation within the public eye.
For those interested, please submit your demo accompanied with three (3) photographs (2 full-body, 1 headshot). The photographs should either be 4"x 6" or 8"x10" (please do not wear shades, glasses or sunglasses with the headshots).
All cassettes/ CDs should contain a minimum of three (3) to a maximum of six (6) songs (3 and a half to 5 minutes in length for each). Label all CDs with names and phone numbers. Also be advised that photos and demos cannot be returned; therefore, please send only copies of your CDs. If you happen 2 have videotape performances of yourself on stage or at other various events, it may also be submitted with your demo/photograph package; however, videotape submission isn’t mandatory.
All submissions should; therefore, include 1 CD, 3 photographs, 1 videotape (optional) and a coverletter stating where you saw or heard of our search with reason for your submission (no novels please- keep it short!). Mail your submissions to the location below (bottom of page) and be sure to include return address.
- Graphic Design Artist
Applicants should be able to be artistic by hand as well as by computer. Love of the music industry for the projects we’ll undertake is a plus. Knowledge of various graphics applications such as Adobe Illustrator/ Photoshop, Macromedia Director, Dreamweaver and AfterEffects to name a few is very helpful. Experience and a creative imagination is needed -n- recommended in dealing with art projects associated with various Hip-Hop, R&B, Reggae, and Jazz recording projects.
Flexibility to work on both PC’s and Mac’s is also very helpful. An ability to work under deadline-oriented pressure is needed although we do try to have fun here too! Some projects may involve outside input (eg. from staff involved with associated recording project or from the company CEO); therefore, being open to creative suggestions is recommended. Songwriter(s)
Needed are songwriters EXTREMELY skilled in the art of lyrical content, some story lining and great creativity in various genres of music. Versatility should be present or easily developed in styles ranging from HipHop, Rhythm & Blues, Ballads, Jazz, Reggae, Dance Hall, Alternative, etc.
This strength in writing is stressed due to the fact our roster of producers are very creative in the production of music tracks from “scratch” (ie. Without the use of samples) in addition to composing and compiling of samples. “If you can conceive and create it, we can compose for it”.
Being able to “cover” your own songs is also a plus, but not required. If you KNOW you possess the talent we require of you here,…Holla at us with 5 or 6 of your best works with lyric sheets and demo mailed to:

Female Solo Vocalist
We’re on the lookout for that certain female singer who not only captures her audience by mesmerizing them with her vocal abilities, but also by her visual presence which is only complimented by her delivery in various music genres we’ll undertake for her projects (Please note that we are ALSO looking for another female Latina vocalist who may be bi- or tri-lingual in performing and songwriting in addition to the first inquiry for female vocalist here; therefore, there are two different positions offered here).
Please “pre-Madonna’s” need not apply, but those with a healthy attitude knowing that the combined implementation of hard work, talent and strategy is what will determine your success level and not the “flash” of the industry are encouraged to make submissions.
It is also a HUGE plus for her to be able to write
her own songs as well. This is without regard of the songwriters we have already
on our roster. Although we cannot actually place it into words, we are seeking
a certain look and sound which says “soulful, but also hip”; therefore, please
send a 3 to 6 song demo with bio and 3 pics ( 2 full body, 1 headshot,4x6 or 8x10) to:

Similar requirements are requested for the male singer in that we’re listening for a sound that screams “soul” and seeking a look that tells the female audience he’s not a shame to look his best in ANY attire, and tells his male audience he makes songs for them as well as the ladies (ie. “all that”….without the EGO).

Personal/ Executive Assistant
Needed to work closely with upper level management. Position is unpaid* [*during Probation period, may change if asked to come on board via contract afterwards], but may be perfect for that certain person [possibly college level] trying to get their “feet wet” in the industry.
Applicant should be punctual, able to take dictation/ notes, able to type(set) between 50 to 65 WPM, have a very charming yet firm telephone manner, willing & able to attend various industry related events and be ready to fulfill various duties and run errands. S/he should have a cell phone and access to a computer for those times when “telecommuting” or working separately on projects makes more sense with regards to having deadlines done efficiently. The appreciation for various genres of music is useful, but not crucial. S/he would also have to assist with some Human Resources duties (i.e. screening, selection process, and callbacks of potential new candidates [and maybe talent] for various company divisions). S/he may also be asked to make callbacks and follow-up calls to update our clients and/ or business associates from time to time.
The ability to become a “chameleon” with regards to appearance and work detail in this industry is very much a PLUS.
